Hi Fani :) I am glad my blog has been helping you. As far as your weight loss goes, everyone is different and I know how frustrating it can be to see those pounds creep back all the sudden. I was down 19 pounds but gained 6 or 7 back and then have since dropped more weight and am now right around where I was at my 2 week mark. I believe that this is because you lose so much water weight in the first week or two of Atkins. In about week 2 or 3 it seems like your body stabilizes your water levels and you gain a little water weight back. This is actually good, it means you aren't dehydrated. Are you drinking at least 64 oz of water a day? Have you followed induction exactly? What is your diet like? Are you only having 3 or 4 oz of cheese and 3 cups of veggies per day? All of that stuff could be a factor. You also could be sensitive to sweetener or heavy cream. Have you taken your measurements? When I wasn't losing a pound it was nice to see that I was still shrinking and losing inches. I know this is working, even when the scale doesn't move. I also suggest only weighing every week or two because we can fluctuate by pounds over the course of a day. It can be depressing to see that. Let me know what your diet is like and I will try and help you more if I can :) Stick with it and don't get discouraged! Almost everyone slows way down after the first week but once your body figures out that you will keep feeding it healthy food on a regular basis, it will start letting go of more weight :)
Take care!

Hi Lacey,
I have been keeping up with your posts and actually learned a lot from them when I had just started about 12 days ago. Now I have stopped losing weight. The first six days I lost 8 pounds then I gained one back on the seventh day and stayed at 7 pounds off til now. Any comments? -Fani
