Induction day 28…

I didnt quite meet my goal for less cream, sweeteners and cheese yesterday. I had 3 oz of cheese and 3 tbsp of cream and sweetener in the form of davinci syrup. I figure its ok to let yourself eat that stuff sometimes. I was eating it everyday and I have definitely cut back so I think I will maintain that for now :)

I checked my measurments yesterday and lost 11 inches during the last week. 2 from my upper chest, 3 from my chest (waaaa!), 2 from my waist and one from each thigh and arm. I think that is a definite indicator that this is working for me! Yeah!

Exercise – 20 minutes tae bo, 50 crunches, 50 squats, 10 minute arm series using resistance band

Breakfast – Mock Danish, 1 egg (0.6 carbs), 2 oz cream cheese (2 carbs), davinci sugar free syrup (you can use splenda but I saved myself carbs by using the carb and sugar free syrup, plus it is vanilla flavored so I didn’t need the extra vanilla)

Total – 2.6 carbs

Lunch – 1 cup romaine (0.4 carbs), 1/8th cup red pepper (0.6 carbs), 1/8th cup zuchini (0.3 carbs), 1 oz feta cheese (1 carb), 3 slices bacon (0.2 carbs), olive oil and vinegar dressing

Total – 2.5 carbs

Snack – 1/2 cup jicama (2.5 carbs), 2 slices roast beef, 1/2 oz cheddar cheese (0.5 carbs)

Total – 3 carbs

Dinner – 6 oz turkey breast, 1 cup romaine lettuce (0.4 carbs), 1/4 cup cauliflower (0.7 carbs), 2/3 cup green beans with butter (3 carbs), 1/8th cup green onion (0.5 carbs), olive oil and vinegar dressing

Total – 4.6 carbs

Snack – handful of pork skins, 2 tbsp sour cream (2 carbs)

Total – 2 carbs

Daily total – 14.7 carbs

**I have to say that the mock danish is really good! I wasn’t fooled into thinking it was bread but it was reminiscent of a breakfast pastry and was sweet and had a good texture. I was getting sick of scrambled eggs and this is a nice alternative. I also think its good for when you have a sweet craving :) I just put butter on mine and it was yummy!**
